I am honored to assume the role of President of the Japan Society of Quality Assurance (JSQA), and I take on this responsibility with great sincerity.
Since its establishment in 1992, JSQA has contributed to the improvement of health and welfare through activities related to quality and reliability assurance for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, regenerative medical products, agricultural chemicals, chemical substances, and related products.
Guided by our vision and mission statements, we will continue to work with our members and relevant organizations to further enhance reliability assurance. This assurance is essential in the research and development, manufacturing, and supply of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other products. For this purpose, various standards have been internationally adopted as GxP.
In Japan’s super-aging society, the need for useful products with confirmed safety and efficacy, as well as their stable supply, is growing.
At the same time, research, development, manufacturing, and distribution are becoming increasingly globalized, while new technologies and innovative products in areas such as IT, AI, biotechnology, and robotics continue to advance.
One of JSQA’s strengths is its diverse membership, which includes companies from various industries and professionals involved in reliability assurance practices. Accordingly, JSQA will continue to promote the improvement of GxP-related practices and human resource development, while also addressing new challenges such as the use of advanced technologies, reliability assurance for innovative products, and collaboration among stakeholders.
Together with our members, and with the cooperation and guidance of companies, organizations, regulatory authorities, universities, research institutions, and international organizations, we will further advance JSQA’s activities and contribute to society.
I sincerely ask for your continued guidance, support, and encouragement.
NARITA Masatoshi
President
Japan Society of Quality Assurance
